Making Digital Platforms Work for Asia

On 26 June 2020, Disini Law Senior Associate, Atty. Aiken Larisa Serzo, on behalf of the UP Law Center, presented a paper on cross-border data privacy issues in “”Making Digital Platforms Work for Asia””, an international conference organized by the Asian Development Bank.

Atty. Serzo’s paper discussed the regulatory and operational difficulties faced by digital platforms in the context of increasing cross-border transactions and digitization. The conference included presenters and panelists from international organizations, government, academe, think-tanks, research institutes, and ADB consultants.
