Atty. JJ Disini was interviewed today, August 18, in the GMA News program News to Go. The interview revolved around Uber, Airbnb, and other similar platforms that make up the so-called “sharing economy.” Yesterday, the ride-sharing application Uber applied for accreditation with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB). Atty. Disini discussed how Uber disrupts the current taxi system, as well as the benefits of the platform to consumers.
