SENIOR ASSOCIATE PROMOTIONS 

Disini Buted Disini Law Offices is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael “Mike” Cruz, Edward De Veyra, Arnico “Nico” Delos Trinos, and Paula Filart to Senior Associate, effective June 1, 2022.

Mike is currently engaged in labor relations and general corporate housekeeping.  In early 2020, he guided clients through the rapidly changing legal environment brought about by the government’s COVID-19 restrictions.

Edward is part of the Labor Team of the firm which handles labor and corporate housekeeping of one of the firm’s key clients.  His labor law experience includes a wide-range of issues related to employee engagement and management, labor disputes, business operations restructuring, assistance in project acquisition of clients, and compliance with statutory and administrative issuances by government agencies. Edward is also involved in the Real Estate Services of the firm, especially in Property Management of several landholdings of the firm’s clients.

Nico advises clients on labor, civil, and administrative cases. As part of the firm’s Labor Team, he has relevant experience in a wide-range of issues related to employee engagement and management, labor disputes, business operations restructuring, assistance in project acquisition of clients, and compliance with statutory and administrative issuances by government agencies. 

Paula has been involved in various tech and fintech projects of the firm. Being part of the Firm’s data privacy core group, she has handled several data privacy compliance audit projects, and regularly conducts privacy impact assessments for clients. Paula also assists in the review and drafting of technology contracts, data sharing or outsourcing agreements, and various other agreements. She also has experience in preparing due diligence reports, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate housekeeping. She also assists in Banking and Finance, Corporation and Labor law work.

 

MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE PROMOTIONS

Tiffany Chan and Kristofer Abe Pojas are promoted to Mid-level Associate, effective June 1, 2022.

Tiffany assists clients with contract review, company registration, and other corporate services. She assists in resolving concerns on data privacy, conducting Process Impact Assessment (PIA). She addresses legal queries on various topics including market research, technology, consultancy, health technology, finance technology, and education. Tiffany also performs general corporate work.

Abe handles labor, civil and criminal litigation, on various issues involving illegal dismissal, settlement of estate, recovery of property, and cybercrime prevention. He assists in drafting pleadings, court representations, contract drafting and review, and corporate housekeeping. He also performs general corporate work.
