Digital Freedom Network, Disini & Disini Law Office and Data Privacy Philippines are set to launch a day-long symposium this July designed to assist employers, human resource officers, and data protection officers in complying with the Data Privacy Act. Data Privacy Bootcamp for HR Professionals 2 is scheduled for July 16, 2019, at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati City. T

This forum would focus on human resource departments of different industries who regularly face issues and challenges of complying with the Data Privacy Act. Learning points such as an overview of basic concepts of the DPA, holistic HR and employee management in terms of the DPA, identifying issues and risks of data sharing, outsourcing and requests, and properly handling data breaches and information security challenges, are some of the key themes of the forum.

The symposium will tap on the expertise of the Disini & Disini Data Privacy Core Team, and would engage guest speakers from the National Privacy Commission and information security experts to lead the discussion and interact with the audience.
