Mark advises the Firm’s clients on data privacy, fintech, cross-border investments, M&As, and general corporate law. He oversees the Firm’s data privacy compliance engagements, working with clients from various industries and sectors such as public utility, IT, education, and manufacturing.
After graduating in the Top 4 (cum laude) of Class 2009 in the UP College of Law, Mark received legal training from one of the oldest and largest law firms in the Philippines. He later joined another reputable Manila firm affiliated with one of the biggest international firms in the world, where he assisted clients on various cross-border transactions.
Mark is a CPA lawyer with extensive private and public sector experience. Prior to joining the Firm, he served as the General Counsel of Millennium Challenge Account- Philippines, a United States-funded development vehicle that managed a $US434M anti-poverty program in the Philippines.
Mark was also an associate at SGV & Co. (a member practice of Ernst & Young Global Limited), the largest professional services firm in the Philippines. His clients included banks and financial institutions.
